Elopement Wedding Ceremonies

Elopement Wedding

An elopement wedding

used to be an anti-wedding. Now, it’s the latest trend and is helping young couples have the romantic and intimate ceremony they crave, without the overhead costs that hang around on credit cards for years to come. Would you and your partner be interested in passing on a more traditional wedding and opting instead for a private, cosy and still loved-up union? I’ve helped bring the professional touch to couples throughout Queensland who want a steady hand to guide them through the legal aspects of an elopement, so they can focus on saving money and beginning a life together, I’d love to help you too!

An elopement ceremony can be performed almost anywhere and at anytime. They involve trimming off all the unnecessary items from a regular wedding, bringing the occasion down to what really matters – love!

Despite the simplicity, there is a short procedure to be followed to ensure your successful elopement.

Brisbane Wedding Celebrant Bronwyn SalehHow to make your elopement official

I will help you fill the Notice of Intent to Marry (NOIM) forms, with 30 days required for verification (plenty of time to figure out what honeymoon destination you’ll land on!). Next, once your date is set you’ll have a choice of elopement package that best fits your budget and vision.

Once the verification of your NOIM is complete, I will contact you to meet up with you along with two of your selected witnesses. From there it’s a simple arrangement of your identification documents for registration and a confirmation of any prior marriage paperwork (all of which I handle on your behalf).

Let your love run wild

You and your (soon-to-be married) partner as well as your two chosen witnesses, as well as myself, will all sign marriage certificates and then it’s over with the elopement ceremony and on to whatever comes next! For some, an elopement is a chance to celebrate discretely before a reception with a wider audience, for others it is a launching pad to start a new life quietly together. Still others combine this with a DIY wedding to take care of the legalities at low cost before partying long into the night.

If you feel as though an elopement is the right choice for you, please reach out, I’d love to hear from you and to see how I may help!
