Jasmine and James both work in the hospitality industry, so it was not surprising that they chose the Jungle Bar in West End, Brisbane, as the venue for their wedding. Owned by one of their close friends, the tropical themed bar was the perfect setting for their relaxed and intimate wedding.
Their ceremony, attended by their closest friends and family, included a non-traditional version of hand fasting, where the happy couple quite literally “tied the knot” and bound their hands and their lives together.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the bridal party and their guests spilled out onto the footpath where Jasmine and James signed the register in front of a busload of delighted commuters.
Although it had been raining steadily all morning, by the time the ceremony was finished, the rain had cleared and the sun was peeping through the clouds, so the bridal party and Jess, the photographer, headed off to South Bank for photos while the guests headed to the reception venue to await the arrival of the bride and groom.
Wishing Jasmine and James the happiest of lives together.
