While raindrops fell on their heads, nothing could dampen the spirits of Cody and Duncan at their wedding. Held in the stunning surrounds of the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron at Manly, the backdrop was fitting with the nearby ocean a wonderful addition to their special day.
Although the wet weather forced us to hold the ceremony inside – and breaking my streak of 150 weddings without having to go to my wet weather plan B for rain, everyone had an amazing time in the presence of such beautiful love.
Even better, when the wet weather cleared we had the talented photographer, Kate Anderson, from Forget Me Not Photography, who was able to capture some truly spectacular images of the newly married and joyously happy couple.
Surrounded by friends and family this was a day no one will soon forget with Cody and Duncan a picture of marital bliss already.
It was an absolute honour and pleasure to marry these two wonderful individuals and I wish both Cody and Duncan all the best as they walk through life together.
If the connection and compassion on show during their nuptials is any indication, they have a life full of sunshine and happiness before them.
Thinking back, it may have been this sunshine that cleared the clouds and allowed the entire wedding party to spill outside to take advantage of the beautiful location!
To the newly married couple, Cody and Duncan!
