Wedding at Brookfield

Brookfield is a quiet little village on the western edge of Brisbane. More and more loved-up couples are choosing to have their wedding at Brookfield because of its relaxed country vibe. Here are three of my favourites for a wedding at Brookfield:

  • Wild Canary is a cute bistro conveniently located on Moggill Road. It features tropical wedding gardens, Wild Canary is both a ceremony  and reception venue. It is known for its locally sourced produce and delicious cakes. A variety of packages is available. The Kiss Me Quick elopement style packages are particularly good value
  • Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens is another one-stop destination for a wedding in Brookfield. It can cater for two weddings at the same time as it has two ceremony areas, the Waterfall Deck and the Jacaranda Tree and two reception area, the Marquee and the Tree Top Room. Despite this, Bundaleer feels private and guests from the two weddings never meet
  • The Brookfield Hall is ideal for couples looking for a DIY wedding. Situated in a corner of the Brookfield Showgrounds, the hall has a fully equipped kitchen. It is also ideal for anyone wanting food trucks for their reception catering. The hall is great for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, particularly in summer when an afternoon storm can put a damper on outdoor ceremonies

There are several quality B&Bs in the Brookfield area. Brookfield is close to Toowong and other suburbs that offer plenty of accommodation choices for guests wanting to stay close to the wedding venue.
