Wedding at The Rocks

Wedding at The Rocks

A wedding at The Rocks at Yandina is always special. The Rocks is a function centre on the banks of the beautiful Maroochy River just inland from Coolum on the Sunshine Coast. It has a rustic vibe and great water views.

The grounds are beautiful and there are several ceremony sites for a wedding at The Rocks. A riverside ceremony is always popular, but The Grove is also a lovely ceremony option.

There are several great locations for the reception too. The Grove is a tree-lined field perfect for setting up a marquee or teepee. It is lit by festoon lights and can seat up to 300 people. The split-level River View room is also a great choice. It seats 110 guests or 180 for a cocktail style reception and is perfect for summer weddings when thunder storms can come out of nowhere.

But my favourite spot for a reception for a wedding at The Rocks is definitely the Riverside Terrace. What could be more romantic than watching the sun set over the river and then dining under the stars? The Riverside Terrace also has an outdoor dance floor for that all-important first dance.

The Rocks has a reputation for good food and using fresh local produce.

There are several packages available for a wedding at The Rocks. Some of these are surprisingly affordable. The packages offer a choice of themes – rustic, classic or boho – with different styles of chairs, arbour and decorations.
