Why Choose Weddings at Riverlife
Weddings at Riverlife are always memorable for lots of good reasons. Riverlife is a unique venue. It is in an old naval stores building (plus outdoor decks with marquees) right on the banks of the Brisbane River at Kangaroo Point.
Riverlife sits at the base of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, just across the river from the CBD. There is car parking nearby, although the car parks are also popular with rock climbers at the Cliffs. Guests staying in the CBD can get to weddings at Riverlife by CityCat because the Kangaroo Point ferry terminal is a short walk away.
Choice of Ceremony and Reception Locations
Riverlife offers a choice of five ceremony and reception areas. There are four marquees over waterside decks. Each deck has stunning Brisbane City views. All the marquees are wheelchair friendly. The Cannon Room is indoors in the old Naval Stores. The ceremony is usually set up at one end of the marquee with the guests looking towards the river. A bar is often set up at the other end with the reception in between.
The venue caters for weddings of between 20 and 800 guests. Couples can book the entire complex for very large weddings at Riverlife.
Food and Drink
Riverlife prides itself on good food for both sit down meals and cocktail style receptions. It is fully licensed, but is also one of a handful of venues in Brisbane that allows hirers to BYO drinks.
One of the best things about weddings at Riverlife is the photos. Many couples time their ceremony so that their photographer gets beautiful sunset photos along the river. The rugged Kangaroo Point cliff face also makes a great backdrop for photos.
Great Value Wedding Packages
